Hand-cut ridges, irregular in height and spacing. Because no two match, the shadow lines never run parallel.

Low raking light separates them into bands.
Overhead light closes them into a single mass.

At the smallest scale it reads as an object. At the largest it reads as a wall.

Hand-sculpted in plaster using a fiber-reinforced composite system.
Mineral black pigment. Matte sealed finish.
